Are you using a SD card or using the internal memory? The trigger mechanism on these cameras are not the best. They are slow and sometimes wouldn't go off with an elaphant standing in front of it and other times it trips from the wind, shadow, or a tweety bird. You get what you pay for. These are some of the cheapest cameras out there and in my opinion some of the best even with all their little problems and quirks. I have bought 21 of them and I have 17 currently in the field with the other 4 dead in the garage. Like all electronics they will eventualy die. If Moutrie still made them I would buy 20 more as the 6 volt system is by far better than any "D" cell camera out there. I get between 300-800 photos per battery charge. I have a Leaf River and 2 Cuddleback cameras that I paid over $400 for and would trade them for these little $89.00 Moutrie's if I could.
