Either the remote or the button won't open my garage door. When push it makes a sound like it want to open then clicking but the door wont open nor close. The sensors looks to be ok one being green and the other amber. Either is not blinking. But a light is blinking next to the red learning button. This happen before and I for got what I did to fix it but I need help.

If the door starts to close and the main light flashes 10 times and the door reverses to the open position it is a problem with the door sensors. Make sure they are pointed at one another and they each have a small light that must be on and not flickering.
If it starts to close but reverses and the main light does not flash 10 times it is possibly the RPM sensor which is a small printed circuit board just in front of the motor.

See if the trolley is jammed against the bolt just in front of the motor unit. If so remove the bolt and then run the opener until the door is closed. While the door is closed locate the 'up limit' control which is on the side of the motor unit. Turn this control 2 complete turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Remember to replace the bolt.

If when the door reverses the main light flashes 10 times you have a problem with the door sensors. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not flickering. They must be pointed at one another for both lights to be on. If you cannot get the lights to come on you have a bad logic board.

If the door reverses when it hits the floor it is traveling too far. Locate the 'down limit' control on the side of the motor unit and turn this in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Some tweaking will most likely be necessary. You can always recognize a sensor problem because the main light will flash 10 times. If the main light isn't flashing it isn't a sensor problem.

If the door is stuck in the open position it probably because the trolley is jammed against the bolt just in front of the motor unit. Remove the bolt and run the opener until the door is closed. On the side of the unit you will find an adjustment for the 'up limit'. Turn this about 3 turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Be sure to replace the bolt.
Post back if this isn't your problem.
If when closing the door it reverses to the open position and the main light flashes 10 times it is a door sensor problem. Make sure the small light on each sensor is on and not flickering ever so slightly. (check closely) Tweak them a little even though they may seem to be okay. Check for 5vdc between terminals 2 and 3 on the rear of the motor unit. If there is no voltage or if it is greater than 6vdc the logic board is bad.
