Blurry parts of pics

I have a z740 and it has always taken great pics but recently i have noticed that i can take alot of pics and when i down load them onto my computer with easyshare some of the pics are great then other pics that i took at the same event seem to be clear and yet fuzzy and blurry.1 person in the pic looks great and another person in the pic is fuzzy or blurry then it goes back to pics looks good and then again back to this problem,a friend of mine said it might be the memory card but i have used this memory card recently and all the pics came out great.any suggestions before i spend a fortune having a camera store look at it?

I have the same problem, especially at night time. I have tried using all the different settings, with no improvement.

Sounds like subject movement. Try using a faster shutter speed

SOURCE: Transferring pictures from computer to camera

Hi Mike. The only way I can think to do this, is with an separate card reader. Then you could take your SD card and load back and forth, from your computer to camera (and vice versa).

hope this helps!

SOURCE: camera starts, then immediately shuts off

I took out the card.
Erased the photos on the built-in memory (after making sure they were copied to my computer.)
Replaced the card.
Voila!
Took some photos and it turned off when I wanted.
I wonder if it will last, or if it is a fluke.
Try it.

SOURCE: uploading pics to mac from SD card in camera

Have you tried using an external card reader?

They look similar to this at Wal-Mart:

I own a mac and always use an external usb card reader to download my pics and it works great. Also, I know that you need to get your pics off first, but you may need to reformat you card at some point so that it will read faster and work quicker in your camera.

For your software issue, have you tried download the software from kodak's website? The program shouldn't cause your apple to crash. I would try re-installing it from there website.

Hi Steve, I inform you that the problem only is moisture. Please follow this.
1. Put the camera in sunlight for few hours. After that use it & if you face same problem then
2. You need to visit camera repair shop and they open the camera completely and clean all the inside part of the camera. because you need to clean the moisture inside of lens, viewfinder & sensor too.
So only hope in sunlight. If its solve then fine.

Pictures taken can be reviewed in the camera. But,

It's a one way street...from camera to computer...not the other way around. Doing it that way will eventually corrupt the card and sometimes even the camera.

Pictures are coming out blurry

On digital cameras it is always best to press the button half way down before taking the picture. This helps the camera focus, thus preventing blurry images. Always, always press the button half way down. Secondly, if you are still getting blurry pictures, there is a possiblity that the sensor in your camera is bad. I don't know how old your camera is or how long you've had it, but you would need to send it for repair, exchange it, or if it's under warranty maybe they'll send you a new one.
