Under cycle setting the quick rinse light keeps flashing and dishwasher does not run.

After the first time the quick rinse light began flashing I disassembled the door and control panel (after shutting off power). I disconnected all of the electric connectors from the electronic control. Once I reassembled the electronic control and the inside panel and turned the power back on the dishwasher ran again through about 3 loads but each time it stopped short of the final cycle and there was water in the bottom tub when it stopped. It now has stopped completely and will not run. I tried to repeat what I did earlier to bring it back to life but no such luck. I can not locate any of the manuals from 2002 when we installed it. Thanks, Jim

Hey Jim, if your model starts with 665 there was a service flash on this unit concerning your problem. SF-22-715. Dishwasher stops in mid cycle. The control board was redesigned to eliminate this problem. The service flash states that if only one indicator light is blinking it's usually a stuck or shorted keypad. I would check with Sears and see if you are covered under this service flash. Catriver...post back.

Quick Rinse light was flashing at end of cycle. Opened and closed door and pushed Start. Quick Rinse and Cancel/Drain light are now flashing and machine won't start. Turned off power supply (30 seconds) /...

Ok try this, open the door and then hit these buttons in the following combination. HI TEMP - DRY - HI TEMP - DRY...then close door and press cancel...then wait for the pump to shut down. you should be able to run a cycle after this...If this fails to fix the problem give me the make and model # of the dishwasher, this can normally be found just inside the door.

Dishwahser rinse cycle running for hours

Do you have high temp rinse or sanitize selected? This will pause the timer during the final rinse cycle to heat the water. The sensor might be bad. Try the quick cycle, I don't think this heats the water.

Kenmore Dishwasher #15769

Try this solution first
Push the Hi-temp and then push the Sani-rinse. Go back and forth multiple times on these two buttons. I found that after a handfull of pushes that a "1" came up on the display. I continued to keep rotating the two buttons and then a "2" came up on the display and the dishwater started it's "drain" phase. I then hit cancel to clear and then I selected the cycle I wanted. The washer started up just as normal at this point.

Flashing quick rinse light on panel

I had the same problem but I found someone wh said that there is a way to reset the dishwasher. I tried it and it has worked so far.

Here is what I did.
Good luck!

Asko 1585 Dishwasher

do they flash lik all on one side then the other? Start a cycle, then open the door. Do the lights flash the same way when you open the door as when it stops? if soyou may have a door that needs to be adjusted so it closes better. when the cycle ends, is there any standing water in the bottom? if so you may have a poorly routed drain hose or a partial clog in it. Last, pull the bottom panels off and look inside the bottom of the dishwasher and see if there is standing water down there . If ther is you have aleak somewhere or a bad drain pump. You r only other choice is a bad pressure switch. If youve already adjusted the water fil to the proper level ( just up to the grey plastic housing that the lower wash arm sits on) tehre really aernt any more options. Hope this helps!

Blinking Quick Rinse

brent, After doing a little research on this model, I see that Sears put out a service flash concerning this problem. Dishwasher stops in mid cycle and one or more of the lights are flashing. SF22-715. The correction is to replace the existing board with an updated board that controls the line voltage better. Part number 8530928. You could be covered under this flash. The tech will have to eliminate the possibility of a stuck or shorted keypad which will cause this same effect. You can try to get this back in operation by pressing in this order: high temp wash-air dry-high temp wash-air dry. This will put it into a self test mode. Just let it run through if it works. If you don't have those keys try power scour-air dry-power scour-air dry. Catriver...post back.
