reset to factory default and setup from scratch, that should clear any mis-set adjustments.
You will have to set up from scratch though.
Also, check all cables are secure
If you get a clear picture using your DVD player, then the problem may not be the TV, but rather with the satellite decoder, or the wiring from the source to the decoder.
Some of their very old sets the video input was located on channels in the 90's; Try scrolling down from 99 to 90 to see if you locate the video input; this is just the way they did things in the older sets.

Hello friend, First have you check on the lense, ok? the cleaning is good but if not responding then it is from the lense, i think the lense is getting weak, so that is why is not picking the CD well. It needs a change. Secondly, the Cd maybe bad that is why is giving you such error's
When properly connected to a High Definition display or TV, Blu-Ray Disks (BD) should play crystal clearly. Inserting an old "non-Blu-Ray" disk (or the original "DVD") in the Blu-Ray player will display a comparatively "fuzzy" picture. This is the difference between High Definition and Standard Definition. A "BD player" can not "upgrade" the picture quality on DVDs to that of a BD or High Definition picture.
Rent, purchase or choose Blu-Ray Disks (BD) whenever a choice is offered to view the High Definition version of a movie or video. Selecting the DVD version will provide the lower quality or Standard Definition version of the same movie or video.
Check the covers or disk itself to determine if the movie or video is in DVD or BD format. That will tell you what you can expect for picture quality.
I hope this helps & good luck! Please rate my reply - thank you.
open the recorder, 4 screws at each corner, wipe the playing head and the voice reccognition head, to the right of the playing head head with a baby wipe, you will be amiazed what **** comes off it. DON'T scrub it just wipe lightly, spin the playing head so it's clean. If you have a lint free cloth ( a glasses cleaning cloth you get in the case is brilliant) Try the tape (before you put it in make sure everything is DRY!) and your problem should be solved. It worked for me! and that came from a TV engineer
