Changing the time

One day i was riding to school with my dad and we always go down this big hill and theres no signal down there. One morning we went down the hill, and my phone turned off by its self and when it came back on, the time had gained five hours. I need to know how to change the time back to the original time.

Go into settings and change it from there. If that doesn't work restart your phone in a high signal area

How can you tell if your car has jumped time? I have a 1998 buick park ave. that tries to start but wont.

check fuel filter and make sure its not clogging up, make sure the engine is getting fuel, have someone go under the car where the fuel tank is and have them listen when you turn the key to on to see if there is any sound coming from in the fuel tank, if not, then you may have burnt out the fuel pump. Fuel pumps are Great for randomly going out at a moments notice. those GM v6 engines dont jump time easily so it more than likely wont be that.

1999 pontiac firebird clicking noise

don't ram it into a pole, that seldom helps the ticking.
get a pressure test done to be sure the oil pump is functioning as it should, motor flush is not always a good idea but if it helped then it probably didn't get rid of all of the sludge, if a lifter collapses, it will always tick no matter what you do, if it is an oil pressure issue the tick can come and go.
one thing to consider, sludge happens from poor maintenance, it can hide other issues, clearing out all of the sludge can cause an engine knock if the bearings are worn.

Just started. no power when taking off and on hills. ant suggestions ran fine that morning. went to leave at lunch time an it falls on it face when trying to accelerate. weak accelaration even on flat and...

First place I'd start is have fuel pressure tested to make sure it's within spec, or at least change fuel filter if not done recently, and see if that helps first. Was tune-up & air filter change done at regular intervals?

Check engine light on pontiac g-6

Try running some fuel injector cleaner through the fuel system and going up on the fuel octane rating. The fuel octane rating for the car is 87, try running the 89 octane for now. As the car get's older, carbon builds in the the cylinder and valves and they may be causing the detonation during the morning drive up the hill. As the engine advances the timing for more power going up the hill, it sounds like it's causing the misfire. A higher octane rating fuel should help this and a clean air filter too. The check engine light is just indicating that there is an issue with the engine and it's compensating the problem. When the light comes on when there is a misfire, the engine's ecm will turn the timing back and will bring the timing back to where it should be at the next start up. If you do mostly city driving at short duration, there will be more carbon build in your engine and changing the oil and filter is a must more then doing long hi-way drives. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to answer any more questions you may have.

Sluggish in Mountains

my top speed was 53 mph. I live at 130 feet above sea level and the passes we went over were around 5400 and 4000 feet. The other riders figured it was the carb. I agreed but wonder if this is just the way it is going to be for my 2006 Ridley on the passes or is there something that can be done so I get normal performance and speeds all the time no matter the elevation? Once again the Ridley was the center of attention at every stop we made even with my fellow riders who were on BMW's and Harley's. I forgot my chicken feed but I never get tired of talking about my Ridley (your Ridley). Prior to this ride of 400 miles 90 miles was my longest round trip. I feel like a changed person. I'm the guy with MS and when I got home I had this calm yet confident feeling that I didn't have when I left. My Harley riding friend with 30+ years of riding did not need an explanation when I talked to him this afternoon. I was pretty sore this morning but went for a long walk to pick up my youngest at school, sort of similar to the light workouts on Sunday's following college football games some 24 year ago, and I feel just fine this evening. I must again convey my heart felt thanks to the Ridley family for making this bike and providing the opportunity for those of us who now ride, that may never have had it, had it not been for the Ridley Auto-Glide.,As with all engines with carburetors, you pick an altitude and tune the carb. If you will be at higher elevations more than lower you could jet the carburetor for better high altitude performance. Fuel injected engines have a computer that adjusts fuel flow as the altitude changes.,,,
