How do I get back my files when my grandson used it he erase everything by mistake when he try to put music on it.

format erases everything, theres only the music, photo, video, instruction manual and coby media manager software. Coby Media manager can be downloaded from:

My coby mp 610 wont play all the music i have on it.

I use a different MP3 player, but I noticed that mine wouldn't play .AAC files, only .MP3 files. I upgraded the firmware of mine and then it played everything. I noticed there is a new firmware upgrade for the COBY 610, so that might be of help to you.
