Hi, During a cycle while the machine was circulating the water the circuit breaker tripped. Each time I reset the circuit breaker it trips when I try and continue the program. There is a quantity of water in the basin of the machine so I manually turned the programmer to drain. I switched the program back on and it tripped the circuit breaker again. I have also tried changing the fuse but still no difference. Currently a 13Amp fuse in the plug. I am unsure what to try next. Many Thanks for all your help. Andy
Andy, leave the breaker off and remove the toe panel (bottom panel) from the dishwasher. Remove the cover of the junction box where the cord connection or wiring is made. Look at the wire caps and see if they are not burnt. Sometimes these connections become loose and arch, tripping the breaker. If so, cut the wires, strip a new end and reconnect. OK Andy, that would have been the main culprit. You want to check to make sure the heating element is intact and ohms out ok. The other issue would be the motor itself tripping the breaker. Can you run an extention to another circuit to make sure it's not the breaker itself giving you the problem? If you post a complete model number I should be able to look the diagram up on this..Catriver...post back.

Thank you for the advice. I have just visually checked the wires from the junction box to the various points and it all seems ok. No signs of any burns. Any other thoughts at all?

Thanks for getting back to me again. The circuit breaker seems fine as I've tried running from the upstairs ring and it trips that circuit breaker too. The heating element seems in good nick and I can't see anything that may be causing a problem.
Sadly I haven't got any manuals or service sheets that would indicate any seriel numbers as when I moved into the house the dishwasher was part of the fitted kitchen. The only numbers I can find are the BF50 on the front pannel and a yellow sticker on the top. This has a large 'B' then 'CUVE LV4' then on the next line 'BIT 2.0' then lastly '3006002031. I am unsure if any of these would indicate a seriel number. The one piece of paperwork I do have was tucked in by the junction box. This has a picture of the program telling me what the stages are and a circuit diagram. This has a code printed '02021 B'.

My Kleenmaid DW5 dishwasher trips my House plugs circuit breaker every time it gets to the rinse cycle point in its cycle.
My 10 yrs old C651 Plus trips the circuit breaker mid cycle. If I leave it a week unused, it will work for 2 3 cycles and then trip the breaker again. When back on power supply, the PC light flashes
I turn my dishwasher on & when it starts the intake of water it blows the main circuit breaker. All my electric circuits are ok & recently checked. Is water getting into the electrics on my dishwasher? If so is it time for a new one?
Is this a major problem?
