How do u switch it from spanish to english?

Kid messed with it, now every button u push u hear spanish instead of english

Press and hold the STOP/SET button for two seconds, then release to access the set-up menu.

The answering machine announces, For English, press NEXT, press SET to continue (in English). Para espanol, oprima PREVIO, oprima PROGRAMAR para continuar (in Spanish).

Press NEXT, answerer enters English voice menu mode. If PREVIOUS is pressed, answerer enters Spanish voice menu mode. If SET is pressed, answerer remains in the current language mode. In any case, the answerer enters to the TIME/DAY menu.

My dad's machine is in spanish. We want English.
Try this: Press STOP/SET button for two seconds, you should hear a announcement, now press NEXT button, if you hear something in English press STOP/SET button to set to English, after that push STOP/SET over and over to get past the rest of the options.

I cannot change the language settings on the dvd
switch on your dvd player and with the remote press the setup button. go to the general page and it will give you the option to set the OSD language. you can set it there in english ^_^

The phone message plays in Spanish instead of English
Display Language

1.Press the mute/menu button until >1Eng, 2FRA, 3ESP shows in the display. 1ENG is the default. (ENG stands for English. FRA stands for French. ESP stands for Spanish.)

2. Use the CALLER ID-VOLUME (Up or Down) button or the touch-tone pad on the handset to select 1eng.

3. Then Press mute/menu again to save.

Answering Machine Language
Just as the other answers that were left...you just have to press the skip button. Just make sure that you press announce on the cradle...not on the phone...then when you hear the voice in Spanish just press and HOLD the skip button until it changes to English. Good Luck
