no pc told make or model
100,000 exist.
USB mouse , direct wired, and keyboard or both wireless. keyboard and mouse if yes, the battery is dead.
in the mouse keyboard.
some keyboards talk to the mouse directly and if keyboard dies, so does the mouse so we fix the keyboard first.
the battery can in fact fail easy in 6 months.
no PC told no keyboard model told off bottom label, (maker and model)
I call bad batteries if only they are dead. not PC dead , not screen dead, just those 2 dead.
does a wired USB mouse work direct to PC, if yes, now you know with 1min. labor yes PC works
we can not guess what is in your hands blind, tell it or photo of it posted.

some wireless keyboards have uSB wireless radio dongle device if the kids lost that, boom mouse and keyboard are dead. Some keyboard new have bluetooth and if PC has no BT , the usb dongle adds that, so it works. same with mouse
I can not guess what is there in your hands ever.
If not wireless, try all USB ports on secret PC before condemning anything first.
Try a factory reset. Try one of these: 1. Stick a pin in the reset hole. 2. Hold vol down (and home) while turning it on (not reset), hold until logo comes up.
try to change the battery of the keyboard an also ther is a reset button on the keyboard keepit press for half a minute ,there is also a button on the stick which is connected to the desk top there is too a button try it pressing this should solve the problem
Turn the computer off. Find the reset button on the keyboard & the other on the mouse. Sometimes they list the button as "calibrate" or even "Sync". Some models require that you push both buttons at the same time and hold them down to reset them to working order. Others only have one button on the mouse or keyboard to reset the calibration.
Reseting the mouse and keyboard has nothing to do with the pc. You can reset them with commands from your computer.
After you push the reset buttons, turn your computer on and see if your keyboard and mouse are now available.
1)Make sure the jumper that resets the board, is on the right position based on manual. 2)Reset memory stick(s) If this does not work, try using USB keyboard and mouse.
this might seem like a silly question, but have you replaced the batteries?
if so, you will probably have to reset the connect buttons on the base and the keyboard... this can usually be found on the back of the keyboard, and sometimes you have to use a pen to poke it... but i think on this model it may be on the front... look near the led light for a for a power on/off button or a reset button.
Sometimes mine does the same too. So, I took out the keys that stuck, I made sure that they were clean underneath, then put them back in, making sure that the metal bar, that some keys have underneath, is back under the key, in the right place. I hope this helps.
