The same thing happened to me. Wouldn't feed paper and the printer function didn't work. The E was in the lower left of the screen. I tried the reset button on the back, but that didn't help.

I took the ink cartridge out and reseated it and that fixed the problem. It was installed incorrectly direct from the factory as my calculator was new out of the box.

SOURCE: We can't figure out how to feed the new paper into

The calculator wouldn't take the paper but when he cut the corners off the paper to make a blunt "V", it grabbed the paper right away and pulled it through.

Put paper roll on paper arm with the end of the paper coming down from behind. Cut paper on a diagonal. Insert the paper into the **** at the back of the calculator. You need to really look to see it. Use the feed button to feed the paper through..

I used to be able to select the draft option when printing, but this seems to have disappeared. I am using an Epson stylus TX100 printer and my document is in Word 7. How do I get draft back?

You can set the option to print in Draft mode while in Word. Follow the steps below and see if it works for you.

1. Go to the MS Office button in Word at the top left of the screen.
2. Then click on Word Options button located to the bottom right of the Office Menu.
3. Select the Advanced Options at the left of the screen.
4. Scroll down and look for the Print Advanced Options
5. Choose "Use Draft Quality"

You can also set your printer's properties to print in Draft mode. If you've tried that and it doesn't work I would suggest updating or reloading your printer's drivers. The print drivers may have become corrupted.

I hope that helps.

Prints only on one side of the paper

If you want to change the default printer setting to print on both sides of your paper do this:

While in the document that you wish to print on both sides, go to "file" at the top left side of the screen, then choose "print" and when the printer options box opens choose "preferences" next to the name of your printer and click the tab choices at the top of the screen until you see the "double sided printing" option, Click the box to enable it and the printer will explain how this option works with your printer. Some have the capability of printing both sides at once (although not many) others will print one side and then the digital read out will ask you to reinsert the page a certain way for it to print the other side.

Printer was working perfectly then suddenly next copy was not readable and copy after that was plain paper. Tried changing the ink cartridge but this did not help.

The cause of the problem can typically be traced to either a dirty print cartridge or to a mismatched paper size. Fortunately, remedying the problem is fairly straightforward.

Ensure that the document to be printed does not include a blank page.

Load the printer with either white letter, A4 or legal paper.

Press the "Setup" button on the top of the printer.

Select the "Tools" option.

Select the "Clean Cartridge" option, allow the printer to print a page, and then attempt the print job again.

Ensure that the page size setting matches the type of paper being used. With a document open, click the "File" option at the top-left corner of the screen. Select the "Print" option from the drop-down menu, and then click the "Properties" option to display the "Properties" screen. Click the "Paper/Features" tab at the top of the "Properties" screen.

Select the appropriate media type from the "Size Is" drop-down menu, and then click the "OK" button at the bottom of the "Properties" screen. For example, if you are printing an envelope, select the appropriate-sized envelope in the drop-down menu.
