My whirlpool dryer model ler3624jq1 type d433-ele-2406028-fm54 isnt drying my clothes completely

This caused by one of two possible things. Either you have poor air flow, or a clogged vent preventing air from flowing freely and therefor making the dryer short cycle, which in turn will take you two or three times to dry yor clothes, or the heating element has gone bad, burnt in half and is making contact with the case to provide it just enough power to barely heat. The second thing is a very rare occurance. I would turn the dryer on, find out where the air vents out to, and with the dryer running, go to where it vents and check to see if there is a strong flow of air. 9 times out of 10 that is going to be your problem. Another way to check air flow is to just pull the vent off the back and let the dryer run and see if your clothes dry faster. If you do it that way and they still take a long time to dry, then you'll probably need to replace the heating element

How to Change the Heating Element in a Electric Dryer?

1) When the clothes are not getting dried but dryeris running. That means the heating element needs to be replaced.
2) First of all unplug the dryer from wall outlet.
3) The heating element is located in the cabinet. Insome models the cabinet is located in rear or in some models its located infront.
4) Remove the screws on the heating element cabinetto reach the heating element.
5) You will see wires connected to the heatingelement terminals.
6) Remove the wires from element using needle noseplier.
7) Then remove the object blocking the heatingelement with the screw driver. But in some models the heating element can be removeddirectly.
8) After removing the object remove the screwsholding the heating element.
9) Theheating will have to be moved a bit to come out easily. Before removing theheating element out. Please note down the position of old heating element. Sowhile placing the new heating element you don’t face any problem.
10) Refit all the parts removed while removing theold heating element properly.
This will help. Thanks.

My dryers isnt drying my clothes. How can i fix

Is it taking too long to dry or are you not getting any heat at all? If it's taking too long to dry, you'll need a new t-stat, if it's not heating at all, you need to replace the element and the thermal fuse. Email or call us with your model number and we'll be sure to get the right parts out to you right away. Hope this solves your problem and we hope to hear back from you real soon.

Will not dry clothes, blows cold air.

need brand.most dryers have thermal fuse that protect the element from going bad.I would first check your breaker and make sure it isnt tripped.a dryer will run but not heat if breaker is tripped.

Dryer still wont heat

you could remove and bench test the theromostat. my kenmore would not complete the circut to heat at all with a faulty thermostat. Just use a jumper wire to bypass it and test it THERE WILL BE NO SHUT OFF COULD HEAT UP TOO MUCH IF LEFT RUNNING.

Taking to long to dry

This could be two problems. First problem, you must have good ventilation. Blow out the dryer vent with a leaf blower or some other type of fast moving air. Also be sure that the vent on the outside isnt blocked by little woodland creatures trying to find a nice warm home. Also be sure that the vent isnt kinked or blocked between the dryer and the wall. If that doesnt work, you may have only 1 of the 2 elements actually heating behing the drum. This would entitle removing the front and drum to check. Let me know if you need further help.
