My phone keeps shutting down when I close the phone up and does not work plugged into the charger - Phone said charge complete but then it seemed ok until I closed it again then it shuts down completely.
Try a new battery if that does not work then you should take the phone and have the firmware flash to correct this error.....take the phone to a mobile service center to have this done.

Try get another battery, it could be that the present battery you are using is malfunctioning, it could be bad and that could be the reason why it is shutting off and on, first, replace the battery to check the performance.
turn the lights off in a room while the phone is on and see if you can see a light coming from the phone while it is closed and on.if you have a new battery did you let it fully charge before using.make sure the blue tooth is turned off.
Sounds like a faulty battery there my friend, when plugged into the charger there is continuos charge running threw the battery/phone, but when u disconnect the charger it is using the power from the battery, which in theory says to me the battery isnt holding its charge :) thanks alot.
Close the flip screen. Unplug charger from the wall and the phone. First plug in phone jack into phone BUT make sure to push it in a bit sideways. Not too much it can break the pins but just with a little angle. When you hear good click than plug charger unit in the wall.
in order for it to work rite its going to need a fulll charge. i will plug mine in to the wall or outo and keep pluging and unpluging it not from the phone but the wall or cigaret lighter untill it charges it. try removeing the battery
that happens mostly with third party chargers..you may want to explore the option of charging your phone using the PC and a USB cable...you may be required to download a software or driver for it ..along with eh motorola phone tool
