My cd burner won't read or burn

check psu to ignitor and the main burner valve sets and resets
you can do this manualy by removing the thermocouple and testing the burners does it try to strike??? and doesnt burn or does the burner try to come on then go out if it wont strike perhaps the door catch isnt right you dont give a make model etc details so its hard to even guess,,,?

The problem isn't the burner. You need karaoke software to burn and view cdg files. Below is a link to free karaoke software. Install the software (or a software package of your choosing) and re-burn your files.

Hi Justin If it's a CD-RW burner then you can't burn any DVDs in it. You need to get a DVD burner instead - they are very cheap now.

The
CRX880A is a cd writer and DVD reader it doesn't record dvd only plays them

Check the type of the blank CD/DVD you are using. Certain players won't be able to play CD-RW for instance.

If that doesn't solve the problem you might try to slow down your burn speed for a better quality CD/DVD. Sometimes a faster burn speed will lower the quality and other devices can have trouble reading these.

Some CD drivers can not read burned CD's, maybe they were burned by an incompatible burner. Try upgrading your CD drive, they are available cheaply from NewEgg or Amazon.
