Hi, F2 error code on the Amana Oven means "Oven too hot"
You have to replace Oven temperature sensor to fix it.
F3 error code means "Open or shorted oven temperature sensor".
Yo also have to replace Oven temperature sensor to fix it.
Summarily, both code has to do with the temperature sensor which you need to replace...
Hi, the F2 Error code means the oven has detected an excess temperature condition. Most often this is due to a bad temperature sensor - the sensor costs about $75 from an online repair site. The "F3" error code means the oven sensor is open, I suggest you flip breaker off then back, on Re check for error, if OK fine if not turn back off and fix or call for service man...
on our maytag a f3 code means shorted or open temperature sensor. do not know if that code is the same as a ge, but you can google your oven model codes and find out what the problem is.
check the codes for your particular model..they are included witht he wiring diagram that came with your oven. F2 likely means your control board (ERC) has an issue. I can't vouch for accuracy but here's another location with fault code listings http://www.appliancepartspros.com/repairtips/repairtips_appliance+fault+codes.aspx#GE Range / Stove / Oven Fault Codes
You can try turning the circuit breaker off that feeds power to your oven ( in your house electrical panel) that might work. If it does not, unfortunately it might be indicating a need to replace the control board... good luck!
