Which are mjog, src and tck buttons or levers in kenwood car stereo

I have the same problem all of a sudden...it only shows as AUX when on CD mode.

The manual says to change the O-N switch to the 'N' side...however I dont know wherer the )-N switch is?!

In standby you have to hold menu doen untill menu appears on screen, Scroll to aux and turn it on :)

SOURCE: Kenwood KDC-X890 won't turn on

maybe a fuse blew out or maybe a wire came loose. check the fuses first then check the wiring make sure everything is cool. then smell the cd player if it has a funky burnt smell kind of like burnt olives or almonds it blew the diode and its toast.

look right beside the SRC button and you will see a small pinhole to reset the deck.press it in with a paperclip and hold it for 15 seconds or so and release.Let me know if this helps

Aux out put
press the src "source" button untill it comes up aux mode, you may have to go into another settings menu to activate the auxiliary inputs on the headunit

Kenwood kvt-717 DVD..code
Have Kenwood KVT-717DVT.
It will uncurl and open screen and show only one screen. It's on "standby". The one screen shows the touch buttons "Audio", "Set Up" and "SRC". These touch button will not perform any functions.
I changed Motorhome's house batteries and this is the problem that occured.
Need the backup camera. Any solutions?

Set clock time kenwood car radio
Get into (standby mode) by hitting source (src) button until screen says "Standby".
M.Jog key is to the left of the (src) button. Hold it in for more than 1 sec to get into menu mode.
Move Toggle Control Knob (TCK) up (don't turn) until you see "Clock Adjust" on the screen.
Press Toggle Control Knob (TCK) in for more than one second and the time will appear (flashing).
Move TCK up/down for hours, left/right for minutes (again, don't turn knob).
Press (src) button when the desired time is selected.

I have a kenwood kdc-135 car stereo. it has an auxiliary input, but i don't know how to access it. i pressed the src button, but it does not display aux. it only displays tuner/cd/standby. is there...
Enable the auxillary in the menu system.
Here's ->LINK-< a manual to show you how.

Plug something like an Ipod in and away you go.

Turn aux on on kenwood kdc-mp205
In order to access the AUX option the stereo needs to be in Standby mode. To do this just hit the SRC or source button until you reach the Standby option. Now hit the menu button and scroll up or down until you reach the AUX on/off option and just turn it on. Hope you find this helpful.

Auxillary option not available in menu
Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.
