SOURCE: TV Problem

The first thing is to check to see if the fuse is blown,if so replace with a 5 amp fuse, fuse is located near were the power cord connects to the board, make sure set is disconnected from power.

maybe there is a lizard inside, open the back cover then remove the PCB. re solder the damaged area and clean it with an electronic spray cleaner. check for cold solder component leads and re solder it.

Toshiba 46 inch regza yellow light blinks and picture wont come on but I have full audio

Most likely the power supply board needs to be replaced. It could also be the T-con board or less likely the display itself.

If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T OPEN THE TV UP TO FIX IT, THERE ARE HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD, EVEN WEEKS AFTER THE TV IS UNPLUGGED!

If you don't know how to do it yourself, find some local Electronic repair shops, get quotes, try to find reviews on the shops.

50" rear projection Toshiba TV.

Sounds like the tv is overheating. Make sure you arnt placing it in a area that will trap the heat like in a corner of a room. You can always put a fan blowing by the back of the tv too so there is some added ventilation. Let me know how it goes!!

WHEN I TURN ON THE POWER THE THE RED LITE COMES ON

We have a TV that does this after we have left it off but plugged in for awhile when we go on a trip. Just unplug the TV, wait a few seconds and plug it back in. If it's like ours, you'll find that resets it.

No Picture, but I have sound!

Your color tube has probably went out that is why you have sound but no picture, you will have to call a tv repair place or where you bought it from to get an estimate on having it repaired

Picture goes off

A temporary solution is to unplug the TV for a few minutes, remove static from the glass with your hand. It is important to unplug rather than turn off. If you have a degauss button you can also press that before unplugging. Wait several minutes or an hour. Then plug it back in. If you have Picture in Picture it may be an issue with that and to permanently solve may need a repair person. The unplugging may get you by for a few days at a time. That's at least better than an hour.

Toshiba 52HL167 52" HD LCD

I have similar problem. Sometimes it will show only a blank screen. Just unplug the AC cord, wait a few seconds and plug the AC cord back in. This will reset the processor and the picture is back. It happens once a month. Not a big issue to call warranty service.

Toshiba 43A61 - No Picture, no sound

If your set all of a sudden won't come on, e.g., the screen is blank, but the LED on the under the screen next to the on/off switch keeps flashing, then there may be an internal fault on the set that needs to be reset.
To force the reset, try this:
  • Unplug the set and wait a few seconds
  • Replug and see if the video returns
Whenever the set senses an internal fault through its monitoring circuitry, it essentially shuts down the set. The flashing LED provides the indication that a fault has been detected. Removing power to the set resets the monitoring circuitry. When plugged back in, the circuitry again does a check of the system. If it finds that there truly is a problem, then the set is shut down and the LED will again flash. In this case, you need to call a service tech. Most of the time, however, the unplug/replug routine is enough to get the set up and running.

TV Picture Goes Black

I had the same exact problem.
I removed the bulb and cleaned it. There is a small screen at the top of the bulb and it was covered with dust. Once it was cleaned I replaced the bulb and it solved the problem.
