You can download the printer driver from the Canon WEB site support download page. You need to select your printer model and the XP or Vista driver version.

I have bought a new printer

I have lost my installation disc for my DX4850 epson stlyus printer. I have a new laptop. How can install without the disc?

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find thefile, double click on the file , then if you get in troubles,follow theinstructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printer does notwork on Vista, if you do not find any driverdownloadfor Vistaonyourmodel page, that means your model is not Vista compatible.

If you have Windows Vista on your new computer, the original setup disc is not going to do you any good, as it did not have Windows Vista drivers on it. You can download drivers (for any Windows OS) from this link, as well as the software that was on your original disc (Easy Photo Print, etc.). Be sure and download the MP Navigator also.
