Lowb error 3 red blinks, lowb error. What part do I need to fix it?

The red light flashing is indicating the error.
depending on the make and model of the TV, the duration of the flash and number of flashes determines the error code.

A 3 blink error on this model is saying that your lamp cover is not on properly. Check your lamp cover and door. Make sure they are seated sucurly. If this doesn't fix your problem. Then the switch or little board buy the lamp cover is bad and needs replaced. This is called the T board.

The set has two common error codes: watch the red light blinking and count the sequence-----3 blinks is most common and is short protection--that one is fairly easy to fix---second most common is 5 blinks which means a short on the 140 volt line--that one is more complex to fix.

6 flashes of the led light is an error code and the unit will not fire-up unless isolated the faulty parts.
To confirm if it is the real fault, unplug the unit from the outlet for 15 minutes and then plug it back in and check if the symptoms still persist.
Your unit has a self diagnostic screen that can be access by pressing in rapid sequence "Display", "Channel 5", "Volume (-)", "Power" on the remote control while the unit is in standby mode or the led light stops from blinking.

Self diagnostic screen will be display. Error code will be display together with numerical "0" means no fault detected and "1" means fault detected.
You will see "6 : LOWB with a numerical "1" on the screen, this is an error code for 6 flashes of the led light.

After you've confirmed that the the error code is "6 blinks/ LOWB error code", then the G1 board (Power supply board) is faulty. LOWB error code means that there's a malfunction on the 6Volts output of the G1 board.

To isolate the fault on the G1 board, you must have a skills on electronics troubleshooting, soldering and desoldering parts on the board, have necessary tools and test instrument. If you can't troubleshoot the unit yourself, don't worry, there's a DIY solution so that you can save money for the service fee of a TV technician. You may replaced the entire G1 board(part no. A-1087-323-A), this is more convenient if you are going to do-it-yourself because no troubleshooting and soldering required. I would advice you to obtain the board from your nearest Sony service center because this board is currently not available online.

PS3 Red/Yellow Light

If you are seeing this error it is because the GPU and the CPU have overheated and you will need to stop the heat to fix this. You can send the console in and they will fix it for you but it does take about 4 weeks to fix.

You can quite easily fix this with a few household tiems from home.

O would need the model number to assist you, as the s blinks is an error code, but error codes are model specific.

if 3 of 4 lights are blinking red, you have a red ring of death and need to contact microsoft. this is distubingly common on some of the older 360 models.

Do a reset and see what happens
While holding down the reset button on the remote
Press the power button on the tv
(The tv will turn itself off the back on)
Now release the reset button
It sounds like the lamp needs replaced....

If your SONY shuts down and the Green Power Light flashes 35-38 times before the picture comes back on....the problem is the LAMP. You need to order a new bulb and replace your old one. I had the same problem and this fixed it. My Red Lamp Light never came on and Sony.com/support only wanted to schedule a service call for me. They claimed no knowledge of this fix.
