I need to know how the belt fits onto the motor
SOURCE: Replace a belt on a Tricity Bendix TM 320 W Tumble Dryer
1. remove top plastic panel (retaining screws are at back)
2. locate metal brace (12 incles long and 1/2 inch wide) on top of the cabinet (in mine it is on right edge)
3. unscrew retaining small bolts (there is one a few inches below on the inside of the cabinet too).
4. Repeat for left side.
5. push the back and front halves of the cabinet away from each other
6. slide the new belt around the front of the drum
7. reassemble
8. if you need to tension the belt wrap 10-20 turns of insulation tape around the idler pulley

the belt needs to go over motor rod first this means you have to take cover off then release the spring that attached to the motor so there is some play with the belt ,then pull the belt around the drum, quiet tight but you can do it,then pull the motor spring back into position to tigthten the belt put back together.... job done

There is a pulley to tension the belt that sits in a slot on the floor of the dryer. If you have the belt wrapped around both the motor and the pulley try going up and under the tensioner in the opposite direction. I've been on hundreds of house calls for this simple solution. Good luck, Dana P.S. You will have to hold the tensioner back in order to get the belt on, if you do not have to hold it back than you are going in the wrong direction. Also, one side of the belt is ribbed and not the other, make sure you've got the correct side down. Look at the motor wear marks on the old belt, that will tell you which side goes against the drum.
