On my birthday I received a gift from my son. It was a Kodak Easyshare 5300 Printer, model 8804056, S/N F002656, which he bought from the Best Buy on01/21/2008. After about 6 month I brought the printer to Best Buy, because the printer did not work properly, the copies from the scanner glass and from computer were coming out very light and many lines and texts missing. I spent $60 replacing cartriges and did a pinhead clean ups, as per troubleshooting instructions. Nothing helped. After about 2 weeks I got my printer back with the Best Buy rep's telling me that no problems were found. I asked them to try the printer at the store in my presence. They told me they do not do this in the store. At home I found the same problem with the printer. The Best Buy rep's offered me for somebody to come to my home at a charge of $150. Definetely, I am not going to pay $150 to repair $130 printer. Please, advice me what else I can do, other than throwing the printer in to the garbage and telling everybody this story. I hope to hear from you as soon as possible. Thank you. Rudolf Kosolapov
