Well my cam lens was repaired recently but whenever i zoom its gets kinda blurry and whenever i try to take pics it makes a weird sound . is my cam ok ? :(

I just had the exact same problems today, I found this post by searching the Internet for solutions. =) By fiddling around I found a solution that worked for me. If you hold the lens once they're "down" as they are spazzing out, gently but firmly keep your grip so that the lens is flat against the rest of the camera as it tries to expand forward. Keep holding and wait until the camera turns off by itself. Then turn it back on, and voila! It worked for me, the blurriness was gone and I could zoom again like normal.

Dirt in the focus motor drive gears right behind the lens at the front.
It's a **** design (my opinion). The lens at the front moves in and out depending on your zoom level. It can come right out of the lens barrell at the front. So, if it can come out, dirt can get in. and it's a pig to clean out and reset. Bin it or sell for parts.

You have a bad lens. Unless the camera is in warranty the cost of repairing the lens is higher than the value of your camera. The strange noise you hear is the lens motor trying to move the lens. One solution is to blow compressed air around the lens. Sometimes dust and dirt may jam the lens.

Chances are your focus is messed up or damage or the lens motor is i would suggest getting a new camera or getting it fixed at a camera store
