I have a 1992 OMT1015 Wurlitzer. I had it in my storage for about a year. Now that I've hooked it back up, it won't put CDs back correctly. The gripper will take the CD and place it correctly. Then after the song is done it picks the CD back up correctly. BUT on the return trip the arm doesn't rotate back into the carousel position. It just stays flat. The CD hits the bracket that sticks up from a rod going to a switch. Then it just jambs. I can turn it by hand as it puts the CD back with little effort. But it just won't do it itself.

There's a spring wound round the shaft of the rod that drives the gripper gears. Oil very lightly. The gearbox rotates when it puts the arm back but the arm is held against the driving part by this spring so if it is sticking the arm will not turn over properly even if the drive shaft is doing what it is supposed to.

The number of Cds in the carousel can be set on the Credit unit to stop it playing fresh air if for example you only have 50 Cds and not a whole 100. Sounds like yours is set to 50 so won't play anything over 50.
I 'think' this is what you do.
On the computer credit unit...
Service Switch ON...Press LT button.
Press 5 on the keyboard once.
Enter 0000
Service Switch off.
Press LT or turn machine off/on.
You need to get the manual for this jukebox.
You have to however confirm what the manufacturer and the model number of this is. The One More Time was made by the following manufacturers:-
Wurlizer, Rowe Ami, Rock Ola, Antique Apperatus and Sound Leisure.
Look for a serial plate on the back of the jukebox in order to get any information.
You can get manuals in the USA from www.victoryglass.com
The carousel is locked in position by the latch at the front (about 6 oclock). If the gripper isn't exactly in line with the cd then you need to adjust the latch a bit.
There is a white bracket on the far side of the gripper arm which comes loose so it doesn't click the microswitch beneath it. To prove this press o the bracket when the arm is over the cd magazine and it will stop.
I asked a Wurlitzer engineer about this problem and he simply said, "Bend it a bit."
Sounds horrible but there is no genuine adjustment. But before doing that, try moving the carousel lock latch (at the 5 oclock position). This is what locks the carousel and determines its position when the correct CD number is reached. If you could ****** or advance it a little it might work.
