Mitsuibishi WS65809 i was wondering if you could help me im trying to do a convergence repair...hi can you please tell me the compatible stks...and also the convergence fuses and resistors and location/ values? thank you

The only items on your set that should need replacement would be both convergence IC IC801 and IC802 which are both STK392-570 and you will also need to change the two 5 Amp pico fuses which are F9A04 and F9A05 they are both % amp pico fuses. All parts are located on the center Board

    on the front panel of the TV hold in the menu and the Device/input buttons both together for 5 seconds and the led should falsh a two digit code after releasing the two buttons. If it flashes two, then a pause then 2 more blinks. Its a 22 code and chances are its the Convergence ICs. If either one of the green picos F9A04 or F9A05 are open. ( no Resistance) Its definately the ICs which have blown

Convergence
After replacing the stks you need to perform convergence adjusment procedure.
If Stk keeps burning out then replace convergence board.

Im in deep trouble! im in india need to ship spares here have blown my stks 392-120 + the audio ic thats on the same board! pl help! :(
Your convergence has failed and needs to be repaired. Once quick test is to goto your convergence menu and see if you can adjust red and blue. If not its has failed and needs to be fixed. You can call in a repair shop or you can get the parts and instructions from www.TvRepairKits.com
and do the repair yourself. Its a fairly easy DIY fix.

As I plan to do my convergence repair for my 46" projection tv,resistors are mention to be replace aside from the 2 convergence IC's as well as the 6 pico fuses ( 2 for the G board and 4 for the D board )...
Just replace Both of the STKs but CK all the pico fuses in front and behind STKs they are yellow or green 5amps 6amps For Parts Call Mats Electronic 1-800-628-1118 I have changed out alot and so far have never had to replace any resistors.

Where can I find instructions on changing lamps? I am assuming that is the problem since I have yellow or blue outlines around test and outlines of bodies.
If you have 3d looking picture and in the customer menu the convergence will not adjust---you have a convergence problem


This model (ws65809) uses two STK-392-570 convergence IC'S---both need to be replaced and the set adjusted----I can tell you what is needed if you want to know---I have repaired hundreds of these sets

Go into customer menu and select convergence--if either blue or red will not move in some direction---convergence problem---You can buy a pair of the chips on Ebay for about 14 dollars plus shipping and if you are able to do the repair yourself--you can save a lot of money.

I have instructions for this repair but I am not allowed to post MY email address here.

I HAVE A 43INCH REAR PROJECTION AND EVERY TIME I TURN IT ON IMAGE COMES ON IT CLICKS BACK TO STANDBY AND THE ERROR CODE FLASHES 10 TIMES COULD YOU PLEASE GIVE ME A QUOTE OF HOW MUCH THIS REPAIR WILL COST...
Looking at 325.00 to replace both convergence ICs STKs if done by repair shop.Replace both the STKs they are big black ICs will have part # on them if 110s ,120s 150s replace with 180s.

Blue light (RGB) will not converge (Toshiba 50H72)
Look around the area of the STKs and you should see some low valued resistors. One lead of which will be attached to the STKs. One or more of these is open. Replace it/them and you should be fine. These are current limiting resistors (effectively fuses) for the power to the STKs. One of them is not getting power.

HCN4727W Convergence issue
Repalce STKs with 392-040 resistors should be 3.9 ohms,also you might want to join Repairworld it is for members who have TV shops over 7,000 different shops / lots of good techs there.They will not put up with anyone just looking to repair there own tv .Sorry unable to help with cz140,141.will do some checking you also can order whole convergence board.

Hi, first what exactly are you looking for? the convergence board of the STKs number? If you have convergence problem, you will need to change the STKs for sure and check the resistence to the STKs and generally all of them have same low value. check it out and replace the faulty onces. switch on and adjust convergence and you have a good working picture on the screen.
