Hi
The manual will give you info on the battery that is inside the trimmer. If you can get to the battery then buy same TYPE or similar to the original---VOLTAGE/CURRENT RATING/CHARGING etc and size, connection
Hope this helps

SOURCE: The battery on my Remington

The charging system in your trimmer is not designed for lithium ion batteries. Installing a lithium ion battery could cause fire and/or personal injury. You should always use the same type battery that came in the shaver originally

SOURCE: Replacing the battery

that manual does not have the battery removal instructions. I am trying to do the same thing and have only disassembled part of it and cant figure out how to get the main case off. I took off every visable screw and removed rubber pieces only to find out there werent any screws underneath.

Usually a bad rechargeable battery pack. At least on batteries are bad.

Troubleshoot/Repair Remington MB-1000 Beard Trimmer

If you leave the batteries in the charger with the mains power turned off then the batteries are probably being drained by the charger. Get new batteries and when flat (only flat not just used or part flat) recharge fully then remove from the charger unit. Rechargeable batteries have a habit of developing a memory as if you recharge a part charged battery then it will only recharge to that flat point

Remington pg200 groomer disassembly

This is a very simple repair.

To disassemble, twist the round bottom part (with the battery contacts) counterclockwise just a bit. Use jaw pliers if it won't twist with your hands alone. To protect the plastic finish of the groomer use some duct tape or a rag on the jaws. Gently twist and open the assembly. When separating the bottom part, take care not to pull it apart too far from the main assembly to avoid damaging the 2 thin wires connecting the bottom plate on the inside of the bottom charger to the main body of the groomer. The batteries will just slide out easily; they are not soldered or attached in any way. You can replace the batteries with any two standard AAA rechargeable NiMH batteries (1.2 volt).

Since the batteries are so easy to access, and there is no solder involved, in a pinch you can even use regular AAA Alkaline batteries! (but, of course, NEVER USE THE CHARGER WITH NON-RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES!!)

The groomer is now as good as new!

Hi there! anyone help please? i opened up my remington pg-400 to change batteries, but i pulled them out and there is only the information that the batteries are GP and rechargable NIMH.. can anyone tell...

Try the highest mA AAA cells you can find or see Maplins for the pre joined pair. You will need a steady hand and a soldering iron with a fine tip there aint much room in there. The mA wont really matter, if you get a higher rating than the originals they will just take longer to charge.
