Iphone is complete dead

Hi there,

I am posting this, hopping that someone can help me because I have tried everything with my iphone an I am so far, no good news.

I have a 2G iphone 8GB and suddenly, the screen gets dark and without any response. Simple doesnt turn on and itunes doesnt recognize it.

I try to charge it (all night long) and doesnt get hot anymore (in the first time I charge it after I notice the failure, I connected it to PC and was hot but no itunes connection).

I tried all kind of buttons combinations (power + home; usb cable + home and others that I saw in the web) and nothing.. DEAD!!!.. and as you all understand.. I am getting like him .. DEAD for is beeing DEAD!!!

Can someone help me please?!

PS: My USB cable have 5 copper connectors. Is that the correct cable? I am asking this coz my brother have a iPod touch and I dont know if we change the cables and coz iPod cable doesnt work on iPhone.

Many thanks guys. Cheers. Hugo

Whats wrong with my iphone it wont turn on after being locked

Perhaps your IPhone is Dead. I suggest plugging it up to a computer and running Itunes. Itunes can see the status of your IPhone. However, If when you say locked, you mean disabled, you'll have to reformat your iphone to get it working again, most likely. Caution however, It'll wipe everything off your phone (but not your sim card, that's safe). To do this you'll have to put it in DFU mode: How to Put an iPhone Into DFU Mode Then connect to ITunes and follow its instructions to restore. Hope this might help!

Dead, Daewoo 42

You want to call the customer support for the company that made your TV. They will tell you everything. Or you could go to bestbuy or something and see if they will help. And one more thing, don't put your phone number on here. People will start randmly calling you.

I forgot to charge iphone 3g battery and all of the battery went down, later i try to charge it and put it on charge the whole night and try to turn it on by pressing both wake/sleep button and home button...

try to connect it to your pc with your speakers on, if it's not completely dead the pc will give a beep that it's connected. If that happens everything will be fine.
tell me what happens.

IPhone keeps dropping wifi signal on Netgear DG834G router.

Hi, please perform the below steps to configure settings on the router:

1. Connect a computer to the router using any one of the 4 available ports.
2. Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari).
3. Access the router, usually with http://192.168.0.1 or http://www.routerlogin.com.
4. Login to the router with the Username as "admin" and Password as "password" (please note that the Username and Password are case sensitive).
5. Click on WAN setup from left menu. Check the box for 'Disable Dos Protection'.
6. Set the MTU size to 1400. Click apply.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

My brand new iPhone 16GB kind of died last night. Well, if I put my ear against it, I can hear that it is charging, and that's the only way I know for sure that it isn't completely dead. But there's...

Turn iphone off. Power on holding power and home at same time for 10 seconds, then release power button but hold home for another 30 seconds. Screen will stay blank but should be in DFU recovery mode. Plug into iTunes and recover.

If that doesn't work, go to BestBuy and see if they can help as they carry iPhones.
