I can't open the dlinkap for the D-Link DAP 1522

I've just purchase a D-Link DAP 1522 to use as a bridge between my Mac and Xbox but I am unable to successfully load the config page. I enter the IP 192.168.0.50 into the URL and it loads, however the page is just black and orange and is covered in 'Related Searches' and I can't actually find the Setup Wizard to link the bridge to my router (My router is a normal D-Link one supplied by Sky, unable to find the exact model at the moment) Please help! I don't want to have just wasted £80!

SOURCE: dlink dap 1522

I think I was having a similar problem with my DAP-1522 ... FW Version 1.10 being used as an access point. I recently discovered that I was not able to connect to the configuration pages using a web browser by typing in it's IP address (192.168.0.50). When I originally set this up device up on my network, it worked just fine, but at some point in time, it stopped working. My solution to this problem was to set the switch on the back of the 1522 from Auto to AP, then re-boot the DAP-1522 by removing power, waiting 10 seconds, then plugging power back in. Once the AP re-booted, I was then able to access the configuration login page by typing 192.168.0.50 into my browser. My DAP-1522 access point is connected via port 1 to my D-link router, a DGL-4100, via a DGS-2208, 8 port gigabit switch. Hope this helps!

On the back of the unit is a small button to reset. Use a straigtened paperclip to do so. Attached is an image of what it should look like. b86d4bfe-0100-4d89-87bc-74360b9790d9.jpg

192.168.0.1

If the page does not open then you don't have a connection to the router. Make sure your cable is attached to the router and computer. You can't do the initial install wireless usually.

Dap 1320 can't set it up using web browser link

These answers on all these sites are very confusing. Here's what I did to solve the issue of not connecting with a browser. 192.168.0.50 does not work nor does http://dlinkap.local. or whatever else is printed on the device. On my PC that is hard wired to my router, I logged into my router, checked which wireless devices were connected and found that dlinkap (note this is not the SSID that is printed on the device) was assigned 192.168.0.4. Set my browser to 192.168.0.4 and off we go to configure the extender.

Cannot access either dlinkap or 192.168.0.50 via web browser in order to set DAP-1522 up as a wireless bridge. My current internet provider is Verizon Fios using their router. Why can't I...

Maybe you have the wrong 192... Go command prompt and type in "ipconfig" without the quotes. scroll up and find the default gateway (default gate way . . . : 192...) and type that in your browser and press enter.
If that doesn't work, go to your network connections and right click on the one that is connected click properties, click on Internet Protocol Version 4, click properties, and make sure all the settings are automatic. Restart computer, repeat first part.
If that doesn't work, reset your router and access point. Than reconnect and repeat first part.
