Replace the paper feeder, or add a tape below two rubber feeder.

SOURCE: Epson R230 steady 2 red light on.

It may be a general error. It is caused by cartridge error (won't read the chip), cartridge can't move back safely, or "something " slip to the mechanics. If u use the compatible chip (CISS), try to use the original chip first. The last action is turn off the printer for about 1 hour, and turn on back. It's for clearing eprom.
