My viking 450E start button is not working - the cyle buttons light up blue and then the start button should start flashing so that you can press it to start but the start button never flashes - I have held the start button down - no lights - I have unplugged and let the machine sit for 10 minutes - is the start button part of the whole control panel - does it need to be replaced ?

It's likely that the cheap POS start switch under the button has fallen off the cheesy plastic mounting and the button isn't contacting it. Put it back so the ears on switch are under the slots in the panel and dab a TINY bit of super glue where the tabs go into the panel.

SOURCE: The three lights for Pots & Pans, Normal Wash,

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. I can't seem to access any previous post dialog that may have taken place but I'd like to help if you can fill me in on whats taken place to this point. The scenario you describe is usually associated with a drain problem/back-up or overfill situation...if it is indeed the Viking (built by Asko) DFB450. I'll wait for you reply to see whats been done or suggested and checked to this point. Regards, Macmarkus :)

SOURCE: Viking VDB450SS i have the same

Please check the door switch in the first place , remove power to the washer and check the continuity of the switch , Now trace the wires to the main panel controller check on the connections on the main panels, check all the wires leading from the main panel to the valves, pump and the motor.
Once you have made sure that the connections are correct, then check the cycle/program as the washer is switched on.
The blinking is an error and is related to a processor resetting due to its failure or an input problem.
There are no controls active on the customer pad and so no reset is possible.
Remove the power and remove the controller unit , warm up the unit to clear off any moisture. Disconnect one by one the outputs , the valve, the pump, heater and the motor.
If the blinking is relative to a short then the related removal of wire to the circuit will bring back the controller to reset.
If none of these works the possible fault can be the controller unit.

SOURCE: Dishwasher will not start

you can hold the start atop button down for 5 seconds to re set it or you can turn off the circuit breaker to the dishwasher for 20 sec. That should help. If not, it probably is a bad celenoid which a repairman needs to replace

Why wont my logitech boombox go into bluetooth search mode

I had the exact same problem. Boombox flashing blue, but not rapidly flashing blue. I did two things that seemed to fix it:

1: Reset the device by switching it on, then holding both volume up and volume down buttons at the same time for 10 seconds. The blue flashing light will briefly flash quicker to confirm.

2: Switch off the boom box

3: Switch on using the power button and (very important) immediately press and hold the Bluetooth button. The Bluetooth button needed pressing and holding almost instantaniously after the power button for it to work for me. I had to try several times to get it to work.

When you do this successfully, the Bluetooth light starts flashing rapidly and it enters search mode.

I nearly threw my speakers away, now it works and connects fine :)

How to unlock region free on U.S sony bdp-s350

Sony BDP S350 bluray - unlocking to region free Yes, it is possible, but you'll need a programmable remote - most use the "one for 3/4/6/all". You can hack it by using the same code as for the bdp-s350. Follow the instructions exactly and it should work - mine does.

Programming the 7040 OneforAll remote to enable region free playback of DVD's on the Sony BDP-S350 Quote: 1. Press DVD 2. Hold the magic button until the DVD button flashes twice. 3. Press 0533 4. Hold the magic button until the DVD button flashes twice. 5. Press 994 6. Press Magic Key (don't hold) 7. Press 1891 (this sets key 1 - the DVD button flashes twice) 8. Hold the magic button until the DVD button flashes twice. 9. Press 994 10. Press Magic Key (don't hold) 11. Press 2552 (this sets key 2 - the DVD button flashes twice) 12. Hold the magic button until the DVD button flashes twice. 13. Press 994 14. Press Magic Key (don't hold) 15. Press 0953 (this sets key 3 - the DVD button flashes twice) 16. Hold the magic button until the DVD button flashes twice. 17. Press 994 18. Press Magic Key (don't hold) 19. Press 2214 (this sets key 4 - the DVD button flashes twice) 20. Hold the magic button until the DVD button flashes twice. . 21. Press 994 22. Press Magic Key (don't hold) 23. Press 0795 (this sets key 5 - the DVD button flashes twice) Done - the remote is now programmed and ready to use Quote: 1. Now to make your player region free use the Sony remote that came with the player to bring it out of standby and wait while HOME is displayed 2. Make sure there isn't a disc in the machine. 3. Now on the OneforAll remote press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (The blue 24p light on the player will start flashing) 4. Put the player back into standby with the Sony remote 5. That's it, the next time you turn on the player it will be region free for DVD playback If the blue 24p light doesn't flash then it hasn't worked, try a new set of batteries and start a fresh Good luck

Headset does not flash red/blue so I can pair it with my phone

To get it into pairing mode (flashing red and blue) turn the headset off.  Hold the main button down until the light goes red and then off.  Then push and hold that same button and keep holding it even after the blue light comes on.  It will now go into pairing mode, flashing red and blue.  Set your cell phone to find it and it should work.

Clean light flashing - no other buttons available

If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses, then repeats...

When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it will stop working and lock the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (ie. element, thermostat or wiring). It rarely happens but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it).
