Red dot i get a red dot in the middle of the screenlittle on the left. it is a very tiny dot and dose no other harm sa yet but i wante to know if there was any solution to this problem. thank you.

There should be a tiny ink dot somewhere on the sensor high temp would have a lil red dot n the low temp should have a lil blue dot. N on the tub the top one is high temp if I remember right

One little blue dot is not enough to warranty the television. If you read all the documents on the set, it will tell you that some imperfections in the display are allowed. The good news is that it wont get any worse

The blue hue on the side and dots are most likely a damaged (burnt light or optical light engine).

This is very common and you may want to contact Sony as there were programs for some models even if OUT OF WARRANTY.


The lamp in the set shines into a a L shaped engine with baffles and lens (red, green, and blue segments) and Blue is closest to the heat from the lamp and usually is the first place to get this type of damage.

I do not enjoy giving bad news but this is what I am sure is your problem.

white dot is from a failure in the dlp chip. it controls 1000s of tiny mirrors which help make up your pix, when the mirrors get stuck a white dot appears. over time more will pop up. Probably in the $300-$500 range to have someone repair.

Is the red dot the only thing you see on the screen? Does the owner's manual mention the red dot? If you're concerned and this is a brand new camera, take it back.

I have EXACTLY the same problem, fuser situation and all. Has anyone come up with an answer?

Panel is bad. Contact Samsung to see if they will replace the panel.

Press and hold button on left side with red dot (record)... You will see "stand by"...  Press the lowest button on right side (A-B) over and over until "source" is "int Mic"... when you are ready to record, press the left button w/ the red dot short and quick... recording will begin.  When youre ready to stop recording, press middle button (pic of square on it) on right side... that will stop it.
To find your recording, look in the "record" folder under "Audio" 

it is time to replace the lcd screen

do this procedure
1.print test page then stop the printer on the middle print proses by turn the printer of or open the rear cover
2.remove the paper jam carefully
3.look to the paper if the problem found change the drum unit els the fusser unit cause the problem
