The best way is to update the firmware in the copier. You have to download the current firmware and put it on a flash card and and plug it in to port 2 after powering down the copier. Power it back on and the firmware will set itself up to your copier.

there are no ports for flash cards now what do i do
the port is on the network print server assembly covered by a bracket held on with a 5.5mm hex head screw. when you take this slot cover off you will see 2 slots always use the empty one on the top. Do not plug anything in with the power on. The copier will load the firmware from the flash card, Do not use a card bigger than 1 GB.
