Htc herm 200 language change

To change languages:

1) Start menu
2) "Settings"
3) Go to "System" tab at the bottom
4) "Regional Settings"
5) Change your language in the drop-box at the top of the screen from "Italian" to "English"
[There are different kinds of English available depending on what you prefer]
6) Press "OK"
[There will be a message popup]
7) Restart the device to use the language

Alright... I am going to do my best here to provide non-language navigation.

If the screen is locked you will get:
Little response to buttons (Except Left Soft-Key, used with Z or * to unlock)
Just a clock on the screen with words above and below
Grey/dark screen brightness.

Providing the screen is unlocked:

Left Soft-Key (White bar above House)
2nd row last icon (Folder with gear)
7 Key
5 Key
Center Navigation button.
Select Language.
Left Soft-Key

These instructions should blindly take you to the language selection for languages that your ROM supports.

For other languages, a ROM Flash would be required, which is nearing outside of the scope of this site.

You'll need to follow this steps to change the language of your HTC TyTN II
<p>1. Make sure you install Microsoft ActiveSync in your computer. Do a first time sync between your phone and the computer.</p><p> 2. Disable any screensaver and/or hibernation in your computer.</p><p> 3. Sync and again and flash with the HardSPL rom from OliNex. You can find this HardSPL software from here >> http://wiki.xda-developers.com/uploads/Unsigned_HardSPL_for_Blackstone_OliNex.zip The flashing completes in under 2 minutes.</p><p> 4. Reboot device. TouchFlo3D will launch into the native language the device originally came in. The new rom now enables you to flash other language roms, even official ones from HTC, bypassing licensing and verification checks (of course you should have the relevant ROM).</p><p> 5. Finally, flash again with the newset WWE (World Wide English ROM. You can download the official English ROM here: http://www.htc.com/hk-en/supportdownload.aspx?p_id=13&cat=2&dl_id=287</p><p> 6. Device reboots in english, or the language of the ROM you flashed.</p>
Take note that by doing this, the warranty of your phone will be voided.

SOURCE: my phone htc touch 3g t3232 is in italian language

Tap on Start > Settings (it is represented by a gray gear in front of an yellow folder. It should be the second item, from the bottom to the top, the closest one to the question mark, which stands for Help). Tap on the second tab (standing for 'System') and search for an icon representing the Earth (standing for 'Regional Settings'). Tap over it and choose the language that better suits your needs, in the dropdown menu. Tap OK to close.
This procedure won't change the ROM from Italian to english, of course, but will allow you to better understand what is going on with your mobile.

SOURCE: HTC Touch Diamond In Italian, I Want English!!!

Go to HTC's website and go to support and select htc touch diamond (make sure its 'diamond' and not 'htc touch'!) and see if there are any rom updates (in english). Make sure it is for your phone + carrier/cell provider, as sometimes there are different rom versions, for different carriers. (depends on your country, so change the country)
