Hi y'all,
I bought a lovely new sony mp3 ic recorder. ICD-UX70 I transferred all my voice recordings to my computer (Mac) and deleted all the files on the recorder except the .exe file. Now, when I try to tape a new recording, the machine's readout is: memory full. When I look for the files on the machine, though, it says that no files exist. On the computer, the files are all deleted from the recorder except the exe file. Any suggestions? I need this mp3 recorder for school and would love your help. Best, Abi

I have the same problem...same situation. Sony ICD-UX70. No solution yet.
:-(
Same thing here too... still looking for a solution!!
It is one of those days when Murphy brought the double troubles - I cannot erase files or format the IC Record despite seeing MEMORY FULL error displayed while attempting to ERASE ALL; CANNOT OPERATE error displayed while attempting to execute Format. A Windows PC can recognize an portable device if the recorder was connected via an USB port. However, it seemed to treat it as a disk driver, therefore prompting to insert a disk, if I attempted to copy a MP3 file to the IC Recorder device. Anyone has any suggestion on what to try to help get this recorder working again?
