Thanks for suggestion, but the main problem is not viewing the clip, but how can you initially transfer the video from the camera to the pc. I hope I have been clear now. In other words when I connect the usb cable to camera and to pc only photos are transferred, video clips are not.
Click on menu goto setup option 3 the top you will see "USB mode" Change that from what looks like a printer to what looks like a card. Your camera will show up as a drive and not as a scanner. Cheers
Open the camera like when you are about to take a picture , press menu press the the right button 2 times till u get to option screen press the set-up and then ok scrool down to format and press ok EARSE ALL DATA ?? OK or Cancel press OK it will work after this oh yea ! your welcome !
I have the same problem as mentioned by 'chal'. I did what you requested by opening it through explorer to see the camera as an external drive, but I don't see the movie files there. They are on my camera though! Please help!!
Hi chal There is an " add a comment " link at the bottom of the page. please use it next time, because it's better to see the whole history together and not just the latest part. chal wrote " Any one please help. When I try to transfer video clips taken by my A340 fujipix camera to my pc i get the message no pictures can be found. I have no difficulty to transfer photos but not videos. I have Windows XP with service packs 1 and 2 installed. Thanks for any suggestions. " dovi answered: "Movies shot on FUJI's digital cameras are recorded in Motion JPEG format and can be played back using QuickTime version 3.0 or later. (You can download QuickTime from the Apple Computer site). To play back movies in Windows Media Player, download and install DirectX 8.0 or later from the DirectX website. Let us know if it fix your problem,or you need for more help. Good luck !!" Now I try: What are you using to access the pictures? from what I understand the software is looking only for pictures. Try to open it through explorer. Do you see your camera as an external drive under "my computer" when connected? good. Now right click on it and choose "explore", and send us a comment if you see the files there or not. Then all you have to do is copy paste. Good luck!

Hi I cannot transfer a large avi file from my Fuji S6500 fd to a pc, neither via finepixViewer nor via windows explorer (I use a usb cable). Please suggest.
Man, same problem. "(
I connect my fujifilm finepix camera, & a program comes up to upload photos, not videos.
Only the photos show up as files available for transfer to my computer, but no videos are shown.
I tried both suggestions
But its the same problem, only photos, no videos, show up for availability to transfer.
Thanks. ")
