Running slow, crashes
Install more ram. i hate to bash on a pc manufacturer but emachines tends to go with lowest bidder parts. it's probably your graphics that can't keep up and it may be overheating or overloading the cache/buffer. if you give me your model number and what game you're playing i can verify this. you need to make sure your system has supports the minimum requirements for the game

It says model number is emachines-w6409
Games on facebook, like farmville. Sorry, I forgot to list that as well.
oh your computer is more than adequate for flash games, i would try a different browser like google chrome. omg it says that it comes installed w/512 mb or ram? are you running xp or vista or win 7? if you're running either of the last 2 and only have 512 mb or ram, there's your problem. it will run win 7 or vista but it will run very slowly. hit start and move your mouse over my computer and right click and go to properties. that will tell you how much ram you have. if you only have 512 running vista or 7, i suggest you upgrade immediately if your running xp you should be fine and it's probably just your browser. good luck
I ''am'' running xp, could a setting be off?? p.s., Thanks for all the help.
no i don't think it would be a setting, well, let me suggest this. it may help. click start then click run. when it opens type pagefileconfig and hit enter. if your system is managing your virtual memory click on custom and change the minimum to 1536, and the maximum to 2048. click set, then click ok. a couple times. restart the machine, and when it reboots try your flash games. What you did was change your systems virtual memory settings, this should increase running speed a bit.
It did help a little. Thanks.

SOURCE: computer crash/need upgrade
I need more information to properly assess this problem.
What sort of P.C. is this? How old is it? How much R.A.M. (Random Access Memory) do you have? What O.S. (Operating System) are you currently using?
My first "guess" is that this is a lack of R.A.M. Games usually use an awful lot of memory for their graphics functions in their programs.
Today's standard for most computer operations are about 1 G.B. (Gigabyte) of D.D.R. (Double Data Rate) R.A.M. (Random Access Memory)

SOURCE: online games-freeze up
Some "free" games can cause major problems. Read the fine print can put allot of necessary programs on your computer spy ware, virus, tracking programs, and programs there are not made for your operating system, and freezes up your computer. To answer your question hit ALT-CTRL-DELETE for Windows Task Manager to stop Applications.
Let me know if this helps and please rate me mysleuth
SOURCE: during online game play-screen freezes after
When you say the screen freezes, do you mean the entire computer freeze, forcing you to reboot it? Or did the game freeze, and you're able to ALT+TAB or CTRL+ALT+DELETE your way out of the program?
If the whole computer froze, it's likely to be a heat-related problem on your CPU or GPU. You can check your temperature using several utilities, such as Speedfan or Everest, or very likely in your BIOS as well. Different CPUs have different overheating temperatures, but usually they shouldn't be above 80 degrees C at extreme load times.
If it's above that, try cleaning your fan using a can of compressed air (You can buy that at any computer shop), moving your cables inside your computer for better air flow, or (as a last resort) open the side of your computer case.
If it's only the game that froze, and not the whole computer, you could check your graphics drivers, or check for any patches for the game itself.

Check how much space you have left on the hard drive - could be getting close to full capacity.
