Red led stays on after turning off.

The problem with my TV is that the red led stays on after turning off the TV. The TV comes back on and every thing works just fine. I've tried to unplug the set for awhile then plugging it back in and the red led came on. I turned it on and off and the led still is on. Any ideas?

Check relay s901 in power supply. It sometimes can be stuck in the closed position causing the symptom you describe.

Aren't you talking about the standby led? cause that is perfectly normal... when it's on it means you can turn the TV on by remote, usualy it goes away when you turn the TV off manualy by pressing the OFF button on the set, but is this really your problem?

When I turn my Plasma TV on, the LED goes from red (stand-by) to green (on) for less than a second, then goes back to red (stand-by). If you keep trying, sometimes it stays on.

43FDX15B No picture, Power light stays on

Just a thought, but check all of the pico fuses for a blown fuse. The pico fuses look like a small yellow resistor. Some Hitachi's are famous for having a blown hi-volt ceramic capacitor and a blown pico fuse.
I think the red led on is a short protect indicator, but I could be mistaken.

TRUTECH PLV16190 wont stay on keeps turning off.

Open the back of the TV,and look at the can shaped items called capacitors on the circuit boards.If any of them have the tops,or bottoms bulged out,they need to be replaced.This should get it working again.I hope this helps.If you have any questions,please let me know.Thank You very much!

No Picture & No sound. Red LED, Green LED, Red LED.

If the power supply outputs are good! Then I would say the back light inverter is bad! If the screen stays black and does not come on.
