LG W2234S FLATRON 22" SCREEN The moinitor keeps on switching on and off while working on my computer in order to switch the screen on again i need to press the on/off button to reset the screen. Please can you advise me how to solve this problem. email: [email protected]

Hi My screen developed exactly the same problem. It appears to be a hardwear problem associated with the screen it's self. continuity test is ok on the lead so I took it back to the shop under warranty and hey presto, the replacement works. I don't know what the problem is but there are a number of other folks on another thread with the same problem and their entries are dated May 09 too. Dave

the grpahics from wowc burnd the sides of your monitor. your pretty much screwed if you keep playing that game

Lg flatron screen keeps flickering, if i switch it off and on its fine then its starts again.

sounds like a capacitor in the power supply is going. Check caps and look for bulged or leaking component. Most new devices have non filled caps so you may not be able to judge these by a visual check.

Lg w2234s-bn Monitor Cycling randomly through Light View Modes/Power Button turning It's self on and off.

On and off cycleing could be caused by a bad power supply or a low battery on your remote. Check them both out. Good luck.

Lg w2234s no signal?

shut down the computer completely by pressing on the power button until no sound is heard. Then make sure that the screen is properly connected to the computer and turn on the computer. If this doesn't help, disconnect the cable that connects the screen with the computer, see that the connection looks fine (no broken pins) and then connect again to the computer.

Hello, I have a LG flatron w2234s and a week ago the screen started to shut down on its own while i'm using the computer or when it goes to sleep mode. The screen gives me the LG sign and just turns off...

First try it on another Pc, you'll know the root of the problem. If there's no problem on another pc then the problem would be with your video card/motherboard. If the problem is still the same on another Pc, then your monitor has internal problem. You better call up a technician, he/she will check it for you, must be Pcb problem. Good luck.
