How do i take a link out of my stella watch?

mcdevito75 here, Genearlly removeing the bands links are more common with Mens watches but some womans watches also have this option, the links are held together with pins which require a link pin remover tool so these pins don"t get bent. Best Bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your araea and have them remove a link or two, also hold onto these removed links in case you need them again.

Shorten the length of a Kenneth Cole "New York" watch band

With the watch on your wrist, check to see how many links need to be removed from your watch. Your watch should fit comfortably on your wrist. Remove the extra links with your paper clip or push pin.To remove the links from your watch, press on the small pins with your tool that are holding the links in place. The watch band should now separate allowing the pin to become free, and you can now remove the pins first and then the links one at a time until you have removed the desired amount of links. Reattach the watch band when you are done removing the links. To reattach the watch band to your watch, simply fit the end links into each other. To complete the resizing, use your push pin to re-insert a joining pin.

Can you please tell me how to remove links on my le cheatau ceramic watch?

Hi, sizing the bracelet on your ceramic watch may void its warranty, making it ineligible to receive service from the manufacturer. If you want to keep your watch covered under warranty, contact your watch manufacturer for information on their customer repair service.
If you want to remove it yourself, you need a watch pin removal tool. You can use a watch pin removal tool to remove the link pins that secure the clasp pieces to your ceramic watch band.

But if you don't have a watch pin removal, follow the instruction below........
  • Find a clean, flat, well-lit work surface where you can size the bracelet of your ceramic watch. For best results, spread a soft optical cloth over your work surface and perform your repair on top of the cloth. The cloth will help prevent you from losing any small watch components, like link pins, that may be freed during repair.
  • Wrap the ceramic watch band around your wrist and count how many links overlap. Use this as a guideline for how many links should be removed. Note that the actual number of links to be removed may differ slightly from the original estimate. Remove excess links from your watch band one at a time to make sure that you don't end up accidentally making the band too short.
  • Remove the excess watch links from the ends of the band with the attached clasp pieces. Look between the removable ceramic watch links to locate the silicone connector pieces that join the links. Use a pair of small, pointed scissors to make a cut between the link and the silicone connector, this will free the excess links. Cut on the side of the link that faces the watch clasp. Repeat the process on the other side of the ceramic watch band.
  • Remove the clasp pieces from the ends of the removed watch links. Examine the clasp pieces to look for the metal pins that hold them in place. Push out the metal pins with a push pin to free the clasp pieces. You can now reattach them to the ends of your ceramic watch band.
  • Examine the newly-shortened ends of your ceramic watch band. Without the clasp in place the silicone connector pieces will be exposed. Note the two small puncture holes that go straight through the silicone connector. Insert the teeth of one of the clasp pieces through the holes in the silicone connector from the bottom. Fold over the other side of the clasp piece, reinsert the metal link pin and push the clasp to click it into place. Attach the second clasp piece to the other side of the watch band using the same procedure.

I am trying to remove 2 links from a ladies indiglo watchband

mcdevito75 here, To remove the links from any watch band requires a special tool called a Link Remover tool, available on ebay. You can remove the links without the tool but the time and work, just isn"t worthit, even with the tool if you don"t know anything about watches, your best bet would be to look for a small watch repair shop in your area , and have them remove the links, hold onto these links in case you need to ever replace them.

How do I adjust the length of the bracelet (watch band) for a Casio EF106D-2AV bracelet watch?

  • Select a clean, flat work surface where you can perform your watch band adjustment. Put down a piece of felt to protect the face of your Casio. Turn on a lamp near your workspace to better illuminate the watch components with which you will be working.
  • Lay your Casio face down on the protective felt. Look for the small arrows on the back of some of the watch links; these arrows indicate the removable watch links and the direction their pins should be removed.
  • Locate the pin hole above the arrow on the removable watch links. Insert the tip of a watch pin removal tool, or push pin, into the pin hole. Apply pressure to the link pin, in the direction indicated by the arrow, to free the pin and remove the link. A pair of needle-nose watch or jewelry pliers can be used to help pull out stubborn link pins. Remove as many links as necessary for your watch to fit perfectly.
  • Reserve the links and link pins that you remove from your Casio Edifice watch. Store the removed watch components in a small, clear, plastic zipper bag. These components can be used when repairing or expanding your Casio watch band.
  • WARNING:Casio recommends that customers have their watch bands sized by an authorized Casio watch dealer. Sizing the band of your Casio Edifice yourself may void the manufacturer's warranty on your watch. Contact Casio customer support for more warranty information.

    Remove links

  • Wrap the watch band around your wrist to determine how many links need to be removed for the watch to fit properly.
  • 2 Place the watch face-down on a flat surface.
  • 3 Look on the back of the watch band. You will find an arrow that indicates which direction you should push the pins to remove the links.
  • Find the point at which the extra links need to be removed for your watch to fit your wrist. Using a 1 mm flathead screwdriver (or the edge of one side of a pair of tweezers), push the pins in the direction indicated by the arrows.
  • Finish removing the pins with your pliers.
  • Keep the extra links in case you ever need extra room on your watch band.

    Remove links on this watch

Most bands have removable links on the end of the band. You can tell because they have small holes on the side to remove the pins that hold them together. The links that don't have holes are not removable. This is standard on most metal bands.
