No sound i reformat my laptop then when i install xp the their is no sound i lost all my drivers then i download the drivers at hp but not of them work need help please output

For that you need to install sound driver.

Click on above link and select your os and model then download audio driver and install then it will work fine.

I have seen SP2 fix many issues like that. Do you have SP2 installed for XP? That you know of?

SP3 may help as well. I would suggest performing all updates and then trying any driver installs that are needed after that.

after downloading drivers,open the setup and install it to your PC.Check the sound card.the installed drivers must be suitable for your sound card.not all drivers will operate on your sound card.if still problem persists try installing vista.

first the sound ... go to www.support.hp.com ... enter your model number under step 2 ... select drivers and downloads ... choose XP (not XP64) then download the audio driver package ... after dl install...
