I have tried various "glues" (monkey, crazy, you name it!!!) and handle may stay on for a fews pulls and then breaks off again!!! Any suggestions????

AS ITS TEN YEARS OLD I JUST PUT CRAZY GLUE AT THE TOP AND THEN TOOK AN OLD RUBBER HANDLE FROM A CAN OPENER AND TAPED IT WITH ELECTRICAL TAPE TO THE INSIDE TOP OF THE HANDLE THIS WAY THE HANDLE CAN ONLY BE OPENED FROM THE BOTTOM NEXT I WILL TRY TO GLUE THE CAN OPENER HANDLE TO THE BACK OF THE MICRO HANDLE AND REMOVE THE TAPE

If you go to sears.com and click on appliances then click on parts type in the model nunber you will bring up a parts look up for that microwave. Then you can order the handle. make sure you get the right color code.

The door handle can easily be replaced without the assistance of a repairman. This is a common problem with some microwave oven doors.
To access the door handle mounting screws on MOST microwave ovens, you have to remove the inner door panel that goes around the perimeter of the glass. You can use a small screwdriver to carefully pry the plastic up and work your way slowly around the perimiter of the glass. Most microwave ovens also have grooves in the panel that you can insert the screwdriver into. Use care not to pry against the glass. The glass is tempered and also has an RF shield that prevents harmful microwaves from potentially harming the consumer. If you break the glass, you will need to purchase a new door.
The door handle screws are located behind the inner panel. Simply remove the broken handle and install the new one. Re-insert the inner door panel carefully and gradually work your way around the perimeter of the door glass and make sure it snaps back into place.
This repair can be done with the door in place, or you can remove it for easier access. If you decide the remove the door, simply open it all the way and lift straight up at the hinges. The door will lift off of the hinge pins. Place on a hard flat surface with some towels under it for padding. This protects the door facing from scatches.

you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo)
and then you'll see the screws you need to remove.

YES!!!!
Mine broke off and I bonded it back on with crazy glue.
1 I alligned broken mounting surfaces and bonded the handle.
2 then align and mount on door. using the crazy glue.
Be carefull not to make a mess on the door..
it is now stronger than when it was new.
