Samsung TL100 Digital Camera wont turn on

The beeping noise and automatic shutoff happens in two cases. Either the batteries are dead and it won't turn on, or the lens is stuck. My batteries were fully charged and it still wouldn't turn back on, so I tried moving the lens and it clicked back into place. Put in charged batteries and now it works fine.

Turn the camera on then off. Turn the camera on, and while the camera is still on take out the battery and memory card. Put both back in and change the settings turn the wheel all the way around back to auto. try to take a picture. turn the camera off then on again. worked for me.

How old are the batteries? They could be toast, so check with new ones...can you power it with an AC adapter to make sure the camera works? If not check the manuel for any settings you could have actuated like a timer or sleep mode.
Check what "mode" its in...some cameras can be switched to different modes that will affect functions...including taking pictures.

Has it gone from cold to hot temp or vice versa in this time period? If so...it could have condensation inside and shut down for self protection...open whatever can be opened on the camera and let it sit indoors at room temp for a few hours.

If none of that works....take it back to where you bought it if possible and talk to the manager.

first off,never use rechargable batteries in this camera or most digital cameras for that matter.2 use only lithium batteries,enegizer preffered.,also yes you can view all your pictures when connecting the usb,meke sure you turn the power on,and highlight the word computer,push ok.you should be fine.good luck .i hope i helped

Everytime I try to turn it on, the lens comes out for about a second, the camera beeps 3 times, the lens retracts and the camera shuts off. The battery is completely charged and the camera is only 4 months old. HELPP :(
