Any ham radio store should be able to obtain these - if they are still in production / stock by Yaesu. Ham Radio Outlet aka "HRO" has stores nationwide and can ship direct.

I hope this helps!

SOURCE: I have a Yaesu FT-51R purchased in mid-year 1995.

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to use the FNB38 NiMH batteries or any other battery as long as it is the same size and the same volt. Once the battery can fit into the radio and charger and has the same volt, then it is definitely going to work.

I hope the above is clear and understandable, if not, please let me know.

Good luck.

Super Star DM-507-4. 4 pin Mic to a Yeasu FT-301. Cannot seem to find this. Please Help.

I did a lot of digging around. Your FT-301 is a nice radio. However the service manual does not have the mic "pin out. " The Ham Forums do not have the mic wiring either. I did find that almost all mics are not wired the same as the Yaesu. Could you just buy a Yaesu mic? Sorry I cannot find this.

Yaesu 857D very poor audio out on SSB.

Dbl check your swr in am mode.. Ch your ssb power and mic gain default is 50 on both on hf .. If you use the mh-59 you will need to reduce the mic gain to 35 and it needs to be set for remote mic in the menu. Also the ssb needs to be set 2.5k wide with the ssb carrier zeroed both tx and rx

Problem with rx yaesu ft 767G emits a loud whistle

It sounds like you have the microphone gain turned up to far or you are getting feedback into the speaker on the radio. If you are using an external speaker move it as far away from the radio as possible or add some ferrite clamp-ons to help with the issue. RadioShack Snap Together Ferrite Choke Core Radioshack just run the wire through them a couple of times and it should help.
