You will need to contact Comcast. They will reset your service for the new equipment. Things are rarely "plug & play" with Comcast.

MSI U135DX cannot connect to a wireless router windows XP

If this is like most Notebooks and Laptops, there is a switch to turn the WiFi off and on. This switch will either be a physical switch on the outside edge of the computer, or a soft key switch on the keyboard. for a softkey, look on the keyboard for a light gray are blue symbol that looks like an antena with lines coming out of it. Hold down the Fn key while depressing this key. This should turn the WiFi back on. If its a physical switch, try a different position on the switch and see if that kicks it back on.

Hope this was helpfull

You have to enter the router password on every wireless device you want to connect to the internet. You usually only have to do it once per device, but it won't connect without the password. The password it's looking for may be on the label on the router or in the wireless setup page of the router.

You need to log into the router setting using a pc.On the pc go to a browser like internet explorer and type the router address which is something like 192.x.x.x which you can obtain from its manual or sometimes is printed underneath the router...Now once you logged in then go to the wireless security tab and find your key or you can make a new wep key.Hope this helps.
