The picture went fuzzy (color alignment).

When I try and correct using perfect focus or do it manually I get a message showing no data available. Can you let me know what they problem may be? and the procedures to fix.

Thank you

Craighirman,

try going to the antenna input from the menu screen, then trying to do the auto focus, or manual focus. My Samsung won't let me do the auto focus unless I'm looking at the antenna for some strang reason.

I have arear projection Hitachi big screen that has an unlevel picture. Crooked a bit. How can I manually fix this?

Very common problems for DLP tvs, will get worst as times go by.Tv probally have a problems known as a convergence problems,it is dead.Tv have colors lines R,G,B unlevel on the pictures?Crooked pictures have mis colors alignments?Yes.There is no way manually to do an adjustment to fixed for this.Try push the tv remote button that said Magic Focus button. If the tv have data processing never completely done and have a error message and stop.Ur tv 100% have a dead tv convergence board, the tv convergence board must have it parts to be replaced like 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.Than tv will be able to run the tv remote Magic Focus again to have a 100% data processing with no error message,tv to fixed this problems. The shop will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.

Our tv just started having a fuzzy image and the auto focus function aborts during the red color alignment. is there a manual alignment I can do to fix it.

What does this fuzzy image look like? Does it have ghosting shadows. Of course it is possible to align red manually from the convergence menu. But first lets confirm that it is indeed a convergence related problem.

Picture is unclear color are off

there are a few things you might be able to do. First I would try the auto focus or alignment feature of the set. there should be a option in menu to realign the lamps.

Fuzzy picture

never adjust the tubes themselves( No-NO) these are affixed to the chasis in one position and not to be moved. no adjustments should ever be attempted to anything directly attached to the tubes. this will throw off centering, soft-focus, & convergence alignments. it can be corrected but a huge burr on the bottom of the foot! what you have are faulty convergence ic's and maybe sme low-ohm resistors that are bad. repair in-home should not exceed 350.00. parts and labor. mch

Samsung HC-P4752W No Color

Do not automatically think you need to go into the service menu. I bet you 100 to 1 that you pulled out a plug or a connector somewhere OR one is not seated into the plug all the way. If the set worked with color before you messed with it, there is not a problem in the service menu. The service menu is not the fix all thing. it is there to make fine alignments and adjustments, and as a matter of fact, messing with a service menu even with the service manual is very dangerous. I have seen peeps ruin TV sets by messing around with the service menu alignments. STAY out of these alignments. they are not going to fix a problem that all of a suddenly comes up. Repair the problem in the circuit first. Good Luck

Wierd problem

HD projection televisions have seperate convergence alignment for 480i-1080i thus your problem when you use your XBOX360. The "No sensor data" that shows up is due to the fact that the sensors need to be initilized after doing the convergence in 1080i mode. You will probably need a technician to do the alignment because if it is out that much then a template needs to be used to get it corrected. For now you can put your XBOX in a lower display mode until repairs are done.
