How to activate my laptop to my samsung tv - Sony VAIO Notebook

Just Follow these steps to activate HBO Go:

1. Download HBO GO from the Smart Hub on your Samsung TV.
2. Open HBO GO on your TV.
3. Choose Sign In or Activate Your Device to get your activation code. Stay on this page until you enter the code on your computer (as per the steps below).
4. On your computer, go to HBOGO.com/activate.
5. Choose Samsung Smart TV and then Continue.
6. Choose your TV provider and then enter the username and password for your TV provider account. If you don't know your username and password, contact your TV provider. If you don't see your TV provider listed, then they don't currently support HBO GO on Samsung TV. For more information, see why doesn't my TV provider offer HBO GO?
7. On the Activate a Device screen, enter the code from your TV (from step 4).
8. You should see a "Success" message on both your TV and computer. Sometimes it can take a few minutes for the activation to complete.

Hi recently I wanted to pair my bluetooth headphones with samsung smart tv and I followed this video.

Goal is to go to the hidden service menu and activate it there.

Hook your tv and/or bluray player to the internet and go to Netflix.com. Up torwards the top of page you will see "watch instantly to you tv. Under where you would enter code it says "how to get activation code" click on that.

What is happening is the Samsung TV is acting as a second monitor. You need to go to system preferences and then displays there will be a check box indicating video mirroring activate that and when that is activated what you will see is what is on your macbook. Hope this helps.

For getting display in TV you have to select input source as TV generally in all other laptop
short cut key is fn+f4. generally short cut function key shows picture of small square box.Search for that short key then activate the out put for TV by pressing that key with Fn keys.

I think it solves your problem.

YOU MUST ACTIVE YOUR TV IN YOUR DISPLAY MENU in desktop properties

If you know how to let it work with an LCD or DLP projector then all you have to do is set the selector of the your LCD TV to the RGB or computer input. If not, then you have to hit the function key in order to activate the secondary port for the external display of your laptop.
