My battery died, so i put a new one in. After I put a new battery in, it would not turn on. Ive tryed several different new batterys from different brands, and nothin turns on.Ive had it since december 2005, and have lost the paper work. What can I do to fix it or where can I take it to get it fixed?PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Plug your SanDisk into the USB with NO Battery. After you take it out, install battery and it should work.
This method didn't work. USB sees it and the files on it are visible on the desktop. But interestingly, Win10 fails to eject the device, just had to unplug it. So I tried the other solution I've seen, took out the battery and let it sit about 10-15 minutes, then put in a new battery - and it booted.

Alright heres what i tried. I took out the battery and pluggend it into my usb cable and apparently it turned on but when i first put it in it flashed the light once then went off so im thinking that the battery had something to do with it. Before i put it into the usb port, without the battery, i tried just taking out the battery and puting it back in later. Hope this helps.
Take out the battery for 5 minutes to reset it. Straight the guy at technical support that I spoke to at SanDisk.
I don't think it is your battery. I had the same problem and it took me all day to solve it. I had to attach the player to my computer and reformat it. After that it worked fine.
Another thing I could suggest is to check the 'Hold' switch on the bottom, if it's in the locked position you won't be able to turn it on, it'll just pop up with a message saying 'Locked' and go back off again, this message only lasts a fraction of a second but if you see it you just need to move the Hold switch the other way. (The body actually doesn't say which side is 'lock', but when it's locked there will be red instead of the normal gray behind the switch, also the 'Locked' message described above when you press a button.) This might not be your problem, but I know that a lot of people go through their player being unresponsive only to find the lock switch is set to 'locked', and that 'Locked' screen really is easy to miss, especially if you're not looking for it (which happens with a player whose buttons you know by heart). Hope this works for ya! :)
I had the same problem i did as u said and it did not work i have a snsa e130 it will say usb connected when i plug it in to a computer and i can download songs to it but when i dis connect it and press the on button it wont turn on. P.S. yes i did put a brand new battery in it
Well it depends where you are, are you in New Zealand? Try reseting the player if it has one other wise take it to an electronic shop to get it fix.
