I need to find a manual for a Craftsman welding stabilizer

I went to Sears parts for this unit and found that while they have a few generic parts, they no longer supply the manual.

Obviously Craftsman products are supplied by another company, possibly they could be contacted if I knew who they were. Please suggest a source.

Thanks

I think most of the older Craftsman welders were made by Century which is now owned by Lincoln Electric Company. If this is a wire feed welder you adjust the wire feed speed so that the arc sounds like eggs frying, the voltage setting (if any) will depend on the thickness of the material you're trying to weld. If it's a stick welder there will just be a current range control that you set depending on the thickness and type of material you're welding.

Rank me if this helped,
Carl

I see the manual listed after part number 25 in this Sears Parts Direct.com website. It is inexpensive and if you can view a complete parts breakdown of the unit here, maybe you won't even need to order a manual. Usually they are a free download. Here is your model:

I need to replace the connecting rod, cylinder sleeve, and eccentric bearing assembly on a craftsman model no. 919.165050

Your compressor is made by Porter Cable. You can use sears parts or takes your old parts to a local Dewalt service center and they will match them up with replacements. You can save some money on the bearing by using a generic. Universal bearing number will be found on the dust shield. Most likely the sears part numbers will be the same as porter cable. Dewalt service center will help you with other questions and or instructions. Good Luck!

Not sure what was happening when the previous reply was created, but the owners manual is part number 211260001 $7.99 at SearsPartsDirect.com

That said, I'm staring at my own copy of the the owners manual and I can't really see why you would want to pay for one. The only really useful information is the parts diagram which is online at SearsPartsDirect.com. The rest is generic grinder information (support workpiece, select proper wheel, etc.) and CYA (always wear gloves and eye protection, don't remopve safety guards, don't use damaged wheels, don't stick your finger in the light socket, don't cross the steet in the middle of the block, etc.)

Garage door opener key pad not working

so i spent the better part of this morning trying to figure this same thing out... here's what I found.

You need to identify the serial number, which is found on the unit hanging from the ceiling... it will be like a 13953970. I found mine behind the lamp light protector thing. NOT the back with the stickers. 41A5021 is actually not the number that is important.

then go to www.managemyhome.com its a website ran by sears. you have to register, for free. then go look for manuals, in one of the tabs running across the top of the site is a choice for manuals. then search by Craftsman then enter the serial number.

then pull up the owners manual and check out the instructions.

** i found out that the old house i bought did not actually have the same keypad opener as came with the craftsman. so i had to closely inspect all sides of the internal keypad opener (not the one outside) and find another serial number. then i went and got the manual from www.managemyhome.com and realized i needed to add a new 9-V battery before I could proceed. So now i'm heading out to walmart to get that.

after a frusterating morning of service number and internet searches I hope after I get this damned battery the clouds will part and god will shine some luck on me.

goodluck to yourself!
