Media device for audio driver not found in compaq laptop

I have compaq presario c772 TU laptop, i couldn't install audio driver , it shows the error message of media device couldn't found

Error showing media device is not found using XP , presariov3000
the drivers might need to be a 32x 64x or check with the product sightand look for pruduct support / drivers-downloads check for you model type and re-download drivers and install but before installing remove drivers previously installed. hope this helps

Check the Compaq/HP WEB site - download the latest drivers for the Windows version you are using. Sometimes the latest one does not work but the previous one will work. (I've come across this problem before and it is not confined to Compaq/HP)
