Cannot Voice Dial from Bluetooth H700, Address book won't transfer

Bluetooth device Motorola H700 worked fine and was able to voice dial, then it stopped. Removed the bluetooth device and paired again. Bluetooth works fine if I dial from blackberry, but when I push the "talk" button on bluetooth, phone screen says "initializing, please wait" and never prompts for a command and screen never changes. When I tried to manually 'transfer address book, got error message: Unable to locate object push server.

Also, just started: Call log will not reflect any entries, although it is set for all.

I have the same issue with my Motorola bluetooth H710 and the Blackberry Curve. It worked when I first paired it - less that two months ago, when I first got the phone. Now no voice dial on the bluetooth, and pretty slow on the phone itself.

May not be the best one, but I just removed my battery and put it right back in and it works again.

This was very helpful. More helpful than Verizon who said I should buy a new H700 from them at list price. Adam

Can't Set up Voice Dialing

Are you saying "name dial" first? Name dial works only with the contacts in the PHONE contact list/ address book, otherwise you have to say "digit dial" and repeat the number. Also make sure you have gone to settings>personalize>voice dial set up, first.

H700 now only dials last number called

On mine, if I wait for it to be fully connected with the phone, then press the button one time, the blackberry ask for the correct voice command. However, if I press the button twice, it will dial the last number called.

HF850 pairs with my Ericsson TM506 phone, but can't voice dial

The TM506 (also known as Bella) must support the Bluetooth Handsfree 0.96 profiling.

The HF850 supports Bluetooth Headshet v1.1, v1.2 and Handsfree 0.96 protocol.

Unless you can find otherwise, the TM506 doesn't support Bluetooth 0.96 Profiles. It is my understanding that on the TM506 you must program your voice commands and I understand that to be different.

Nonetheless, the TM506 works very well and seamlessly (other than voice dialing) with the HF850.

Will not voice activate

Does your Treo 700W support "voice dialing"? I searched the whole user guide for the Treo 700W and it does not say anything about dialing by voice. If the phone does not support it than no matter what Blue Tooth unit you use you will not be able to voice dial.

Voice Dial

I had a problem getting the voice dial to work on my K1 phone. The voice dial would not work if the contacts are stored on the sim, once they are copied to the phone memory all wored fine.

RAZOR V3 VOICE DIALING

If you have the v3xx, it has speech recognition built in, you just press the voice dial key on the right side of the phone and say "name dial", then say the name of the address book entry you want to dial. The speech recognition matches up with your address book entries and repeats the name back to you. If you have multiple entries, it asks "which one". It's very cool and mine works very well. I was going through the same frustration you mention, looking for a way to add a "voice tag" to an address book entry like my old phone, but this is way cooler! Hope this is the fix for yours as well, good luck!
