Hi, I am having a printing problem. when I print
a full page color I get thin stripes or band down the left margin. So I
printed a test page with blocks of color to see if any printed out ok.
The black is solid so it yellow and red. blue green and purple have the
stripes. They are very very thin stripes, doesnt really have a color
(not the blue like a bad color pcu) it just looks like some color is
missing?? If increase the print margins @.35 I can get rid of the
stripes. I just recently changed out the waste toner bottle, and
refilled the yellow toner cartridge..
I pulled out the waste toner and both color and black pcu, and the
fuser up front just to check to see if there was anything obvious. No
luck, in fact it seems worse.

According to the maintenance manual, broken lines are caused by the "dithering" setting. Also there is an in depth color calibration process you can execute. Have you checked the PCU unit?
